Richard Kluger was born in Paterson, New Jersey, on September 18, 1934. He graduated from Princeton (B.A.) in 1956. Kluger has written novels and articles, served in editorial capacities for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, Forbes magazine, the New York Herald Tribune, Book Week, and Simon and Schuster, and held the position of president and publisher of Charterhouse Books.
